about me
For more than 20 years I have been working in the IT industry as a consultant and leader of large sales teams. Via consulting and development I came to consulting sales. Then I was Global Account Director with a focus on software sales and finally I came back to consulting sales - as Vice President.
Delivering on sales promises has always appealed to me. Setting out and leading the process between two companies to a decision is what drives me.
Over time, the projects and decisions have grown larger and larger, allowing me to serve the largest clients in their respective industries.
In April 2022, I embarked on the path of a sabbatical. It's an exciting time, because it gives rise to completely new things, as you can see here.
Home is with my family in Bremen, Germany

book
This non-fiction book is for key account managers and those who want to become one.
It's a challenge to ensure that important business relationships between two companies grow and are nurtured.
As a key account manager, you listen to customers. You take on board their wishes and requirements. With all your know-how, you translate their requests into business.
How do you avoid to acting stupid, or, to put it differently, what is not allowed to go wrong in this process? Are there fundamental elements that help you to identify optimal solutions?
With the help of First Principle Thinking, I looked into these questions. The result was nine principles that lead to success as a key account manager.
You can control these principles yourself. You need them to create the (new) solutions leading your company and your customer through the decision-making process.
The principles will help you make important decisions and achieve your goals.
What will you learn and what can you take away from the book?
- How to confidently lead your organization and your customer to decisions
- How to develop successful solutions with your customers
- How to design and achieve your goals in a self-determined way
- How to optimally organize your (constantly) changing team
- How to use your existing tools even better
Free bonus material included, that saves you many hours of time... and so much more
Short on time? No worries!
You can read this book in about one hour.
That’s a train ride to your client or a relaxed second coffee on Sunday morning.

course "learning to learn"
Our brain is constantly learning: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This does not always happen consciously, but our brain does not pause. No matter if we are awake or asleep. How does it work? And above all, how can we harnest all that brain activityt? Are there ways to learn that best support our brain function? How do we acquire topics that help us progress? How do we acquire skills that are important to us, in school, in sports, at work, and in life?
Learning, like riding a bike, is a skill that needs to be learned. Since we are always learning, everywhere, it is a skill we all use all the time. Being able to learn well is the meta-skill of all skills!
Schools in Bremen and Lower Saxony already integrated the course successfully into their programs.

The editor Silja von Rauchhaupt accompanied me and the German book, professionally, purposefully and with loads of encouragement. I can't thank her enough for her patience and suggestions. I was able to learn such an incredibly amount from her! Thank you! Read more: www.lektorat-rauchhaupt.de
Bronwyn Steck edited the English version of the book. With her clear and calm style she heavily improved the book. There would be no English version without her!
